There is this growing in the Proteas squad. The team fires from all cylinders when matches are less important. When the big stage arrives, it falters. What is wrong beautiful Proteas, where is that much needed fire?

It’s time for the big boys to step up
The big hitter and swingers like AB Devilliers, Kagiso Rabada and Dale Steyn has not arrived to the party yet. Rabada was for from convincing in the opening match against a team which he dismantled it visited his home turf just before the ongoing tournament.
Again the most feared batsman in the world, the great hitter and a master of reverse swings, cover drives shots, you name them, has failed to deliver at the moment. For Dale Steyn it is understandable the man has been out for too long but even so, he is a professional and one of the best in the world. He has to pick himself up before it is late.
JP Duminy loss a blow
Things have gone worse; the team will take on high flying West Indies team lead by a big hitter Chris Gayle without JP Duminy. Where to from here? The name of Riley Rossouw lingers from everyone’s thought. The question is, can he fill in the big shoes left by the inform JP? We will see.
They can still rectify their mistakes but it will be hard
It is still early stages in the tournament. Many say it does not matter how you start, what matter is how you finish. I completely disagree with that. How you start determines how you will finish, Usain Bolt will tell you!
PROTEAS, BRING BACK THE FIRE!
