Barcelona failed to break them down, Bayern fell to a well executed counter attack finished by Griezmann. Atletico under Simeone should not be seen anymore as European underdogs, they have over the last four seasons shown that they are more than capable of mixing it with Europe’s top clubs. What can we expect on 28 of May in Milan

This is widely seen as part 2 of the 2014 final that Real Madrid won. For Atletico it will be a game with a lot at stake. The Champions league is the one trophy that has eluded them and they will want to get the job done over their bitter rivals. For Real this will be a game that both manger and players have points to prove. For the manager this will be a test of his credentials in his young career, a first shot at a manager trophy. For the players who have tasted victory on the biggest platform they want to prove themselves and bring the most important trophy back to the Santiago Bernabeu.
