It has been one of truly phenomenal tournaments the world has ever seen. Despite the security concerns, the fans have took France by storm and that is what represents the beautiful game. As the tournament draws to the close, we look at tonight’s match between the hosts France against World Champions Germany.

Massive experience on both sides but some situations a problem

Both these sides boast tremendous experience and talent in their respective camps. However at this stage of the tournament every situation in your camp defines the outcome of the match you are preparing for. Losing a player through suspension or injury is not ideal at all for the men at the helm. 

Germany have to do without the tried and tested

Germany have to do the job tonight without the experienced defender Mats Hummels and inform striker Mario Gomez through suspension and injury. Hummels, a world cup winner in 2014 played a massive part in making sure that Germany became world champions. His position is critical in tournaments like this one, stability at the back is key to winning world tournaments.

Gomez was coming good as well as Germany are short in the number 9 department, his absence could prove a massive blow for his country and the fans.

There is huge possibility that the Germans road ends in Marseille

On the other hand France welcome the returns of defender Rami and Midfielder Kante who are also crucial to the hosts hopes of winning this tournament. For Germany it could well mean the end of the road in pursuing the dream of winning the competition. The players missing tonight are crucial and France on the other hand have a full force to bullish the Germans.
