The fairytale continues as Cape Town City find themselves in their first ever Telkom Knockout final. Their success has come as a surprise to everyone, even the owners and the coaches themselves. It has been a superb start, the players move on the pitch like they have been together for a long time. The owners took a risk and started a new club and the risk is definitely paying dividends so far.
The football that they play is very tricky, they have skillful players and prolific goal scorers who can take anyone on their day. The final against Supersport United will sure test their credentials, but the way they have been playing so far, United are the ones who should be worried, they are definitely in for it.
City coach Eric Tinkler is getting the best out of all his players. From defense to attack there is high level of energy and belief. The team is on top of the table in the league and on their way to the cup final they record a huge 4-1 victory against Free State Stars . United coach Stuart Baxter on the other hand will definitely not take this one lightly.
United have been in fine form of their own. With all that in mind, this will definitely be a humdinger. A winner would surely have deserved it.
