The new Video Assistant Referee that has been introduced to football is definitely going to ruin the beauty of the game. What is a football match without controversy? The fans go to stadiums, watch televisions to witness all sorts of drama.

When watching a soccer game, one of the things that get fans talking the most are the controversial decisions by referees. That is the nature of this game, that is what adds the tension which builds up to a spectacle.

With this video assistant technology comes a lot of confusion than excitement that fans deserve. The stopping and reviewing of decisions takes away the intensity and excitement of both playing and watching a soccer match.

Fans want to see a free flowing game with no stop and go.  Football is exciting when it is bring being played at  the highest speed of intensity, it creates a wonderful spectacle. That speed and intensity has been taken away by the the new technology. It is going to take some time to getting used to.
